I dreamed of a future…
I had a dream the other night,
I was spending time with you.
We laughed at the same things,
And did what we wanted too.
It became a bright relationship,
That we were finally together.
And we both hoped we’d stay,
In love, and like that forever.
People had commented on us;
The way we wore our smile.
So happy to be in it together,
Knowing it would last awhile.
But, before I go on to tell you,
All about the love we had.
I’ll begin to tell you one thing,
The ending was quite sad.
I had a dream the other night,
That we did what we wanted too.
We fell in love, oh so quickly,
And I spent some time with you.
